77 ARTILLERY BATTALION’S NOBLE GESTURE OF APPRECIATION

In a heartfelt expression of gratitude for years of dedicated service, personnel from the 77 Artillery Battalion, led by Unit Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Peter Mugwika, recently pooled resources to build a home for Mr. Mohamed Odhiambo, a civilian staff member who has been with the unit since 1989. The new accommodation is located in the Kavuka area of Mariakani, Kilifi County. This gesture honors Mr. Odhiambo’s 35 years of loyalty and commitment to the Battalion.

Throughout his tenure, Mr. Odhiambo has touched the hearts of many who have served alongside him.

During this Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) event, Mr Odhiambo expressed his heartfelt thanks to the unit personnel for their support and generosity.

Lt Col Mugwika praised Mr. Odhiambo as a resilient and obedient staff member and encouraged him to continue his dedication to his work in pursuit of his life goals.

The act of kindness has also resonated with the local community in Mariakani, who expressed their appreciation for the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) and their continued commitment to community support initiatives.
