Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) troops at Bura Forward Operating Base (FOB) under Operation Amani Boni (OAB), engaged the local administrative leadership together with the community, to enhance rapport and working relations.
During the engagement, the troops donated assorted food items and availed clean water to the residents of Mansabubu location, Fafi Sub County, in Garissa County. On their part, led by the area Chief, the residents conveyed their appreciation to KDF for their sustained support to the community and efforts put in to restore peace in the area.
While addressing the public, the Officer Commanding (OC) Major Mulyungi emphasized that security is a collective responsibility hence the need to partner in information sharing towards the realization of a peaceful region.
