STRENGTHENING LOGISTICS OPERATIONS

The Base Commander of Moi Air Base, Brigadier Bernard Oluoch, officially inaugurated a three-day seminar for Logistics Warrant Officers and Senior Non-Commissioned Officers, and Junior Non-Commissioned Officers at Moi Air Base (MAB) on 24th March 2025. Running until 26th March 2025, the seminars brings together logisticians from various Kenya Air Force (KAF) formations to discuss critical aspects of their roles and responsibilities.

During the opening session, Colonel Benedetta Kikech, Commander of Logistics Command, provided an in-depth overview of the seminar’s objectives, emphasizing the significance of incremental improvements in optimizing KAF’s logistics operations. These enhancements are expected to strengthen logistical processes, ensuring seamless operations across the force.

In his address, Brigadier Oluoch underscored the importance of professionalism, dedication, and efficiency in logistics, emphasizing that even minor lapses could have serious operational consequences.

“As logisticians, even at the most fundamental levels of operation, we must reinforce our processes. This will lead to optimized logistics operations and, ultimately, enhanced operational readiness,” he stated.

Enhanced operational readiness within KAF directly contributes to mission success whenever duty calls.
The event was also attended by Principal Staff Officers, Commanding Officers, and Officers from KAF Headquarters and MAB.
