SCHOOL OF ARTILLERY SOLDIERS PLANT TREES IN HONOUR OF THE LATE FORMER PRESIDENT KIBAKI

Kenya Defence Forces soldiers at the School of Artillery last week participated in a tree planting exercise at Kampi ya Chumvi in honour of the late former President Mwai Kibaki.

Speaking during the tree planting exercise, the School Commandant Major Gaga encouraged planting and taking care of trees in line with KDF’s Environmental Soldier Programme aimed at restoring and protecting the forest cover.

Over 500 trees of different species were planted.
