On March 21, 2025, alumni of Laikipia Air Base (LAB) Comprehensive School conducted a mentorship program for Grade Nine students. The event began with a visit to the Base Headquarters, where the alumni were warmly received by Base Commander Brigadier Mohamud Farah for a courtesy call.
In his opening remarks, Brigadier Farah acknowledged the invaluable support provided by the alumni. He commended their strong connection to the school and their commitment to nurturing the next generation.
During the mentorship sessions, students received guidance on key topics such as discipline, effective study techniques, time management, career pathways, and making informed career choices. The program aimed to equip learners with essential skills and knowledge to help them excel academically and prepare for their future careers.
Alumni Association Chairman Collins Wakapisi and Base Education Officer Captain Thomas Gwaro emphasized the importance of mentorship in shaping students’ academic and professional journeys. They encouraged the learners to stay focused, work hard, and take advantage of available opportunities.
