KENYA NAVY UPDATES KPA ON NAVY AT 60 PREPARATIONS

On 15 November 2024, Brigadier Abraham Biwot, Commander Kenya Navy Base Mtongwe, paid a courtesy visit to the Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) Managing Director, Captain William Ruto, at his office in Mombasa.

The leaders discussed preparations for the upcoming 60th anniversary celebration of the Kenya Navy. Brigadier Biwot outlined various community engagement initiatives planned for the occasion, including community walks, medical camps, tree planting campaigns, and strategies for oil spill mitigation.

The meeting was also attended by Chief of Naval Medical Services, Brigadier (Dr.) Justino Muinde, KPA’s General Manager for Cargo Operations, Dr. Sudi Mwasinago, among other senior KDF and KPA officers.
