KENYA AIR FORCE REINFORCES COMMITMENT TO NATIONAL SECURITY WITH 2024/25 PERFORMANCE CONTRACT SIGNINGS

The Kenya Air Force (KAF) reinforced its commitment to national security through the signing of the 2024/25 Performance Contracts (PC), presided over by KAF Commander, Major General Fatuma Ahmed, on Monday, September 16, 2024, at KAF Headquarters.

The PC serves as a strategic guideline to help KAF meet its mandate of defending the nation’s sovereignty and territorial integrity from external air threats. The initiative aligns with the Chief of Defence Forces, General Charles Kahariri’s “One Force, One Mission” philosophy.

Maj Gen Ahmed urged Formation Commanders to use resources wisely within the set budget and to commit to continuous improvement, contributing to the Ministry of Defence’s sustained excellence.

Key attendees included Deputy Commander KAF, Brigadier Samwel Kipkorir, Base Commander Moi Air Base, Brig Benard Oluoch, Base Commander Laikipia Air Base, Brig Mohamud Farah, Base Commander Wajir Air Base, Brig Stephen Sane, Base Commander Embakasi Air Base, Brig Stephen Kapkory, Director Defence Forces Welfare Services(DEFWES), Brig Peter Limo, KAF Principal Staff Officers, and other senior officers.
