KDF STEPS IN TO CURB RISING MALARIA CASES IN BARINGO

Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) troops, operating under Operation Maliza Uhalifu, recently conducted a medical camp in Mukutani, Baringo County, to address the increasing cases of malaria and other diseases. The medical team treated over 70 patients, predominantly women, children, and the elderly, while distributing curative and preventive medicines.

In addition to medical assistance, the KDF troops donated food supplies to help residents affected by the ongoing drought. Major Ezekiel Namu, who led the team, urged the community to support security agencies in maintaining peace in the region.

Area Chief Benjamin Lecher expressed his gratitude to the KDF, praising their efforts to assist the community in overcoming socio-economic challenges.
“We are very grateful for this gesture of brotherhood and unity that the KDF has shown,” Chief Lecher remarked.
