KDF HOLDS MUSEUM AIR SHOW FESTIVAL IN NAIROBI

H.E Hon Uhuru Kenyatta, President of the Republic of Kenya and Commander-in-Chief (C-in-C) of the Defence Forces alongside the Ethiopian Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed on Saturday 28th May 2022, joined thousands of Kenyans for a thrilling Museum Air Show Festival held at Uhuru Gardens along Lang’ata Road in Nairobi.

The Air Show, led by Kenya Air Force (KAF) in collaboration with Aero Club East Africa, included other participants like Phoenix Aviation Cessna Sovereign, Kenya Airways Embraer 190 fly-past among others.
Daring aerobatics and extreme manoeuvres were performed by Tucano aircrafts and Northrop fighter jets from KAF, Green Eagles free fall with Skytruck fly past, KAF Huey helicopter troops extraction, PUMA rappelling dispay with Tropic Air showcasing their firefighting cabability and Mark Hensman team from South Africa who showcased aerobatic capabilities that enthralled and entertained the public

Kenya Wildlife displayed their anti–poaching skills while some Wilson airport operators flew past.

In attendance were Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) General Robert Kibochi, Vice Chief of Defence Forces (VCDF) Lieutenant General Francis Ogolla, Service Commanders, Serving and Retired General Officers, Senior Officers, Service Members, families and members of the public.
