The Junior Joint Command and Staff Course 098/24 comprising of 50 participants from the three Services of the KDF graduated on Thursday 15 Aug 24 at the Joint Command and Staff College, Karen. The ceremony was graced by Deputy Commandant (Chief Instructor), Joint Command and Staff College, Brig D K Chesire accompanied by the College leadership team.
The Course was aimed at equipping participants with requisite professional knowledge and skills to perform duties in command and staff appointments while laying the foundation for joint operations, which is necessary for subsequent professional development of the graduants in military service.
During his address, the Deputy Commandant commended the graduants for their efforts, commitment and focus throughout the Course. He also advised them to remain committed to lifelong learning and enhancing their leadership pathways by embracing creativity, innovation, collaboration and agility to respond to the ever changing operational environment.
He concluded by wishing the Officers a future filled with success and God’s blessings as they discharge their duties in service to the Nation.
