The Junior Joint Command and Staff Course 099/24 held a CI’s run on Thursday 06 Dec 24, at Langata Garrison. The competitors, including the faculty, staff, and Student Officers, were flagged off by the Deputy Commandant (Chief Instructor), Brigadier D K Chesire.
The race is the climax of the Course’s sporting activities and is specifically designed to test performance, endurance and build esprit de corps as well as strengthen the bonds of comradeship formed during the Course. The Student Officers are expected to be innovative in creating similar events to build team spirit when they return to their respective formations and units.
After the run, the Deputy Commandant awarded the winners and thanked all the participants for their excellent performance and for organizing an exciting event.
