The Commandant Joint Command and Staff College, Maj Gen Erick Kinuthia, recently hosted a delegation of the 54th Pakistan Navy Staff Course at the College Headquarters. The delegation, headed by Commodore Ehsan Ali Khan, is on a study tour in the country.
The delegation was briefed on the functions of the college in undertaking its mandate of training middle level officers from the Kenya Defence Forces and militaries of allied countries. The study tour will enhance geostrategic knowledge of the participants as well as diversify their expertise in international relations.
After the briefing, the team had time to interact with their counterparts at the college in enhancing good relations between the two colleges. The visit strengthens the good relations Kenya has with Pakistan.
The delegation comprised of directing staff and course participants from Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan.
Also present during the event was the Deputy Commandant and Chief Instructor Brigadier David Chesire.
