Kenya Army troops based at Mkunumbi Military Camp and operating under Operation Amani Boni (OAB) conducted a Civil Military Cooperation (CIMIC) exercise at Bahati Njema Primary School. The troops donated assorted food stuffs which included rice, cooking oil, sugar, and also supplied the school with fresh water.
Speaking during the exercise, Captain Mohamed Digale acknowledged the support that the residents accord the Kenya Defence Forces troops within OAB and requested them to continue cooperating with them as they carry out their duties.
The troops shared a meal with the learners and urged them to work hard in their studies and avoid all distractions that deter them from achieving their goals.
Mkunumbi Assistant Chief Anne Halako David thanked the troops for always supporting the local populace through various CIMIC exercises and Quick Impact Projects as they work towards improving security in the area.
