A continuous operational review is critical for the achievement of peace and stability in the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
The Kenyan Contingent Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Denis Obiero while addressing troops under the East African Community Regional Force (EACRF) commended them for their commitment to joint operations and collective efforts by the humanitarian agencies in the restoration of normalcy in the region
He briefed the troops on the ongoing diplomatic efforts in line with the Luanda mini-summit communique of 23rd November 2022 and the just concluded Nairobi process.
The Commanding Officer encouraged the troops to be mission ready and continue to operate in line with the EACRF mandate towards realizing peaceful coexistence for socioeconomic development.
