The European Union Naval Force (EU NAVFOR) Commander Commodore Joao Paulo Silva Pereira and a delegation of the European Union to Kenya, paid a courtesy call on the Commander Kenya Navy Major General Jimson Mutai at the Kenya Navy Headquarters last Friday, 4th March 2022.
During the courtesy call, discussions were held on strengthening relationships between EU NAVFOR and Kenya, as well as the mutual benefits of strengthening cooperation in safeguarding maritime security off the coast of Kenya.
The visit took place when the Spanish Naval Ship (SPS) Frigate CANARIS was docked at the Mombasa Port for a two-day port of call.
