The Ministry of Defence has been feted with a Certificate of Recognition for its unwavering role in enhancing ethnic representation in its workforce.
The Ministry emerged a Finalist as the Best State Department on Ethnic Representation during the seventh edition of National Diversity and Inclusion Awards and Recognition (DIAR), Gala Night and Awards ceremony held yesterday at Sarit Centre, Nairobi.
The Secretary of Administration Mr. Isaack Masinde led the MoD team and was accompanied by the Director of Strategy, Planning and Policy Mr. Kennedy Okondo as well as the Assistant Director of Public Communications Ms. Grace Mwanja.
This year’s DIAR Awards attracted various entrants under the theme; ‘Awarding Investors in people, Planet Guardians and Champions of Prosperity for Posterity’.
The awards are championed by Daima Trust alongside other stakeholders with a view of enhancing diversity in working environment and incorporating the marginalised and people living with disabilities.
