Major General (Rtd) Joseph Kivunzi and the local administration of Mavui, Kiusyani in Kitui County, led the community in a tree-planting exercise.
The exercise was geared towards the restoration of the ground cover in support of achieving the government initiative in partnership with other stakeholders to ensure 15 billion trees are planted by 2032 across the country.
