On Wednesday, 5 March 2025, Brigadier Joseph Mutua, Commander Construction Engineer Brigade, conducted an inspection tour of ongoing school and borehole projects in the North Rift under Operation Maliza Uhalifu.
During the visit, Brigadier Mutua commended the Engineer Brigade personnel for their professionalism, highlighting their efforts since the renovation of schools and the construction of new classrooms, ablution blocks, water points, and teachers’ accommodations commenced.
In his address to the troops at Cheptulel High School, he commended the significant progress made in stabilizing the region and encouraged the personnel to continue honing their skills, maintaining professionalism, and staying committed to their tasks.
Teachers and students at the visited institutions expressed their gratitude for the projects, noting that they have boosted student morale, increased attendance, and created a more conducive learning environment.
