The Chief of the Defence Forces (CDF), General Charles Kahariri, has once again extended his heartfelt wishes to all Muslim personnel as they observe the holy month of Ramadan.
During a courtesy visit by Colonel Abdulmaliq Rubeya, Principal Imam of the Kenya Defence Forces, the CDF acknowledged the significance of this sacred period, emphasizing reflection, discipline, and unity.
“As our Muslim brothers and sisters embark on this spiritual journey, I commend their dedication in balancing faith and duty. The military leadership fully supports them during this period of fasting and prayer,” said General Kahariri.
In the spirit of Ramadan, the Principal Imam presented the CDF with a gift of assorted dates, symbolizing goodwill and appreciation.
The CDF expressed gratitude for the gesture and reaffirmed the Kenya Defence Forces’ commitment to fostering inclusivity and respect for all faiths.
