BUILDING RESILIENCE THROUGH TRAINING

General Officer Commanding Western Command (GOC WESTCOM) Major General Jeff Nyagah today visited Kenya Army troops undertaking sustenance training in Isiolo County.

The visit aimed at asserting the relevance of the training as a key pillar of operational effectiveness.

In his address to troops, the GOC underscored the critical role that continuous personal and collective training plays in ensuring that troops remain mission ready.

“Relentless training helps us remain mentally and physically prepared for any task. Every drill and exercise builds the strength that we need to face challenges associated with military duties,” he noted.

The GOC was accompanied by Commander 8 Brigade Brigadier Edward Banda, Commander 110 Mechanized Infantry Brigade (110 MIB) Brigadier Antony Rotich, Commandant School of Infantry Brigadier Pascal Kitiro as well as the Kenya Army Chief of Training and Doctrine Brigadier Benedict Mzee, senior officers, officers and service members.
