Rt. Rev. Wallace Ng’ang’a, Bishop of the Military Ordinariate of Kenya, made a pastoral visit to the Kenya Defence Forces Recruits Training School (DFRTS) on April 12-13, 2025.
The visit began on Saturday with an address to the soldiers at DFRTS, where he was welcomed by the institution’s Commandant, Brigadier John K. Kipya. During his address, the bishop quoted the Year of Jubilee of Hope and encouraged the soldiers to face life’s challenges with prayer, serve with dignity, nurture family ties, and practice financial discipline.
On Sunday, April 13, which coincided with Palm Sunday, the bishop celebrated Mass at St. Monica Parish. The service included a procession with blessed palm fronds, commemorating Christ’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem.
