BISHOP OF THE MILITARY ORDINARIATE VISITS EMBAKASI GARRISON

The Bishop of the Military Ordinariate Rt. Rev Wallace Ng’ang’a paid a courtesy visit to Embakasi Garrison, Nairobi on 25 March 2025. The visit was part of the Bishop’s familiarization tour to the Kenya Defence Forces formations and units.

During the visit, he was received by Embakasi Garrison Commander Brigadier Jackson Lesaiyo whereby he visited the headquarters and addressed the Service Personnel present.

In his remarks, Bishop Ng’ang’a expressed gratitude for the KDF’s service and commitment to the country. He also affirmed the church’s commitment to provide pastoral and spiritual care to the serving personnel.

” Your commitment to serve and protect the country requrires immense sacrifice and unwavering dedication. This is a noble calling and your sacrifices cannot go unnoticed. I urge you to lean on your faith in times of trial. Seek solace in prayer, find strength in the Lord and remember that even in the darkest of times, hope endures. Be a beacon of light, an embodiment of the values you have sworn to uphold.

Further, Bishop Ng’ang’a urged those present to uphold integrity, honesty and respect as they discharge their duties.
Brigadier Leisayo thanked the Bishop for his visit and appreciated the spiritual guidance he gave them noting the visit served as a morale boost to the personnel.
