The Director National Security Industries, Major General Bernard Waliaula on 28 March 2025 officiated over the closing ceremony of the 3rd KDF Medical Scientific Conference, at the Emara Ole Sereni Hotel, Nairobi.
He applauded the significant efforts and dedication made by the Director of Medical Services and the entire medical research team in making this year’s event a success. He further appreciated this year’s partners, stakeholders and collaborators for their unwavering support.
“I also acknowledge and commend all the authors and presenters who were privileged to secure this rare and competitive opportunity to present their work. For the last two days, they shared insights drawn from their research work and kept the delegates actively engaged. These healthy discussions certainly provided a dynamic and progressive research ecosystem.” He added.
Major General Waliaula called upon all participants to actualize lessons learnt from the conference and implement the actionable points as a firm and sustainable foundation towards improving service delivery, enhance quality healthcare and effectively respond to the ever-evolving health threats.
This year’s conference provided a critical platform for knowledge exchange, networking and professional development among medical researchers, reflecting their active involvement in medical inquiry that guarantees evidence-based medical interventions that safeguards KDF troops and improve health outcomes.
