Kenya Defence Forces personnel based in Wajir today assisted medical personnel of Wajir General Hospital in lifting, relocating and installing an oxygen compressor and transformer to the required site.
The hospital is now able to generate its own oxygen and operate other machines like X-ray which they were unable to use before due to power flactuation.
That plant has a capacity to refill 10 oxygen cylinders per hour and will serve the entire Wajir County.
