COMMANDER KENYA ARMY VISIT TROOPS IN CLOSE AND DEEP OPERATIONS

Commander Kenya Army Lt Gen Walter Koipaton visited troops operating both in Somalia under AMISOM and in Operation Amani Boni (OAB).

While addressing the troops in the various Forward Operating Bases he expressed his gratitude to the soldier’s selfless service in countering terror threats in their areas of responsibility.

The efforts have since brought stability and a conducive environment for the locals to enjoy social and economic status by the urban populations in Somalia and along the Kenya-Somalia border.

The tour also served as a morale booster to the newly deployed troops.

Present during the visit was AMISOM Sector II Commander Brig Jeff Nyaga, and Commander OAB Col Meshack Kishoyian among other senior officers.
