The Kenya Defence Forces Engineers Brigade’ Water Drilling Squadron (WDS) have successfully drilled 4 water boreholes at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).
The team has also rehabilitated 2 pre-existing boreholes that were unserviceable and target to drill 2 more boreholes.
These are part of Civil Military Cooperation (CIMIC) activities by the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) geared towards alleviating water shortage at the airport.
The airport can now enjoy increased water supply.
