Kenya Defence Forces Recruits Training School (RTS) conducted a tree planting exercise at Moi Barracks, Eldoret.
During the exercise 60,000 trees were planted. Brigadier Paul Njema the school Commandant presided over the event, held in partnership with Equity Bank Group, Kenya commercial bank (KCB Bank Group) and Family Bank.
The exercise implements the annual target on tree planting by KDF institutions, as outlined in the Environmental Soldier Program (2003).
