Read moreOn 9 February 2025, the Commander Kenya Navy Base Mtongwe, Brigadier William Kiprotich, officially presided over the launch of the Resettlement and Transition Training for Financial Year 2025/26 at the Kenya Naval Training College.
The training program is designed to prepare service personnel for life beyond active military service by equipping them with practical financial management skills, entrepreneurship awareness, and essential life-planning knowledge necessary for a smooth and successful transition into civilian life.
In his opening remarks, Brig Kiprotich emphasized the importance of the program and encouraged participants to take the training seriously. He further stressed that the true value of the training lies not only in attendance but in the practical application of the lessons learned, noting that proper planning and financial discipline are key to achieving long-term stability and success after service.
The seminar brought together experts in financial management, career planning, and entrepreneurship, providing participants with practical tools and guidance to help them confidently navigate their transition into civilian life.
