Laikipia Air Base on 29th July 2022 hosted aviation students from Mangu high school in a mentorship programme.
The programme is part of Kenya Defence Force’s continuous mentorship where military personnel in various career specialization interact and mentor students on career and other life skills.
The students who are also members of the school’s aviation club had an opportunity to interact with the officers and were taken through various Kenya Air Force (KAF) aircrafts and topics among them being: career opportunities available in the aviation industry, the requirements and career path for a KAF pilot and aeronautical engineer.
During the interaction, the enthusiastic students expressed their passion and interest in joining the Kenya Defence Forces.
