KMA PARTICIPATES IN TREE PLANTING EXERCISE

The Kenya Military Academy (KMA) Cadets Intake 12 led by the Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Richard King’ori on 7th May 2022 took part in a tree planting exercise at Logoman, within the Mau complex.

Over 20,000 trees were planted during the exercises on a 48-acre piece of land towards rehabilitating the Mau Complex in a bid to restore the water catchment tower.

The exercise was in in partnership with the Kenya Forestry Service and the local community and is inline with Kenya Defence Forces’ Environmental Soldier Program that supports the government’s plans to achieve a 10% forest cover by the end of the year 2022.
