KDF TROOPS CONDUCT FREE MEDICAL CAMP AT HOOSINGO

Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) troops under the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) recently carried out a free Medical Camp at Hoosingo Health Centre in Somalia.

The exercise, led by the Officer Commanding Major Mathew Ingolan at Hoosingo, provided medical services to over ninety (90) area residents including infants.

Hoosingo District Officer Mr. Abdikadir Omar Shale expressed his gratitude to the KDF troops for the kind gesture, saying it had gone a long way to assist area residents with their medical needs.

“We are grateful for the sustained security efforts in our area and the love KDF has extended to us,” said Abdikadir.

The locals thanked KDF for the medical assistance and pledged their support for AMISOM troops’ activities in the ongoing efforts to stabilize Somalia.
