CDF VISITS THE KENYA NAVY HOSPITAL

Chief of the Defence Forces (CDF), General Charles Kahariri, visited the Kenya Navy Hospital (TKNH) on December 24, 2024, at the Kenya Navy Base, Mtongwe.

The visit formed part of the festive celebrations aimed at spreading cheer and goodwill among patients and personnel at the facility.

Accompanied by his spouse, Mrs. Grace Kahariri, who is also the Chairperson of the Military Wives Association of Kenya (MWAK), General Kahariri was briefed on the hospital’s operations and capabilities.

The visit highlighted ongoing efforts to enhance the welfare of soldiers and their families.

In his remarks, General Kahariri commended the hospital for its pivotal role in reducing health-related expenses by minimizing referrals to private hospitals.

He noted that the prompt and comprehensive medical care provided by TKNH has significantly improved convenience and comfort for personnel and their dependents.

As part of the holiday celebrations, the CDF presented gifts to the patients and extended his best wishes for the festive season.

Also present were Deputy Commander Kenya Navy, Brigadier Sankale Kiswaa; Commander Kenya Navy Base Mtongwe, Brigadier Abraham Biwot; Chief of Naval Medical Services, Brigadier (Dr.) Justino Muinde; as well as senior officers, officers, and service members.
