KENYA AIR FORCE COMMANDER MAKES YEAR-END VISIT TO LAIKIPIA AIR BASE

On December 10, 2024, the Commander Kenya Air Force (KAF) visited Laikipia Air Base (LAB) to join officers, service members, and their families in celebrating the unity, dedication, and strength of the Air Force community.

During the visit, the Commander commended the invaluable contributions of the personnel at the base, recognizing their unwavering commitment and sacrifices in ensuring national security and global peace. She highlighted their crucial role in deterring aerial threats and ensuring security beyond Kenya’s borders.

The Commander urged all service members to uphold the highest levels of professionalism and remain vigilant during the festive season. “This is a time to reflect on our service and renew our commitment to our core values. Let us stay focused, professional, and ever watchful as we continue to safeguard our nation’s security and uphold the trust placed in us,” stated Major General Ahmed.

She also acknowledged the importance of stable and supportive families in contributing to operational excellence. A strong family foundation, she noted, provides airmen with the assurance and focus needed to excel in their duties, strengthening the Air Force’s overall performance and enabling personnel to carry out their missions effectively.
