KENYA AIR FORCE TRAINING WING CONCLUDES DRILL AND DUTY COURSE

On Thursday, 21st November 2024, Brigadier Stephen Kapkory, the Base Commander of Embakasi Air Base, presided over the graduation ceremony for Drill and Duty Course 11/24. The event took place at the Kenya Air Force Training Wing in Moi Air Base.

The course, featuring participants from across the three KDF Services, was tailored to enhance the command and leadership capabilities of Warrant Officers and Senior Non-Commissioned Officers, equipping them with the necessary skills to manage their respective Formations and Wings effectively.

Throughout the training, participants engaged in various lessons, covering topics such as Service Laws and Security Threats. All participants successfully completed their final assessments.
In his remarks, Brigadier Kapkory commended the graduates and instructors for their dedication and commitment to achieving high training standards. He also expressed appreciation to the families of the Service personnel for their support during the course, noting that their encouragement contributed to the participants’ success.
“I encourage you to use the skills gained during the training to demonstrate leadership among your peers and enhance operational readiness toward a premier Air Force that delivers Air Defence 24/7,” Brigadier Kapkory stated.
Also in attendance were the Commandant KAF Training Wing, Colonel Wilson Yattich, and other Senior Officers.
