The Commander Kenya Army Lieutenant General David Tarus, is attending the 12th edition of the Africa Aerospace and Defence (AAD) Exhibition 2024, at Air Force Base Waterkloof in Tshwane, South Africa.
While there, Lt. Gen. Tarus has had occasion to pay a courtesy call on the Kenya High Commissioner to South Africa H.E. Jane Ndurumo, General Rudzani Maphwanya, the Chief of the South African National Defence Force and Lieutenant General Lawrence Khulekani Mbatha, the Chief of the South African Army. They discussed matters of mutual interest as well as portential areas of cooperation and partnership in security.
The event, which commenced on 18th September, features a three-day trade exhibition showcasing air, sea and land defence technologies, including static aircraft display, followed by two days of live air demonstrations featuring global aircrafts.
