KENYA AND AZERBAIJAN STRENGTHEN DEFENCE TIES

Defence Cabinet Secretary Hon. Soipan Tuya today held discussions with H.E. Sultan Hajiyev, the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Kenya, during his courtesy visit to the Defence Headquarters in Nairobi.

The discussions covered a wide range of topics, including potential areas of collaboration between Kenya and Azerbaijan and the need to develop a robust Defence Cooperation framework to strengthen the partnership between the two countries.

CS Tuya emphasized Kenya’s commitment to fostering strong bilateral ties with friendly states for mutual benefit.

Also present at the meeting were Azerbaijan’s Deputy Ambassador to Kenya, Ms. Linet Kore, and Colonel Policy at the Defence Headquarters, Col. Samuel Oloko.
