The Junior Joint Command and Staff Course 096/2023 commenced on 11 September2023.
The course is comprised of 50 officers drawn from the three Services of the Kenya Defence Forces with the rank of Captain and Major. The course is key is the Professional development of their Military careers, it is aimed at equipping the students with requisite knowledge and skills to enable them perform command and staff duties more effectively and efficiently.
The opening ceremony was graced by the Commandant Joint Command and Staff College, Maj Gen E M Kinuthia who was accompanied by Senior College Staff.
During his address, the Commandant urged the Officers to give their very best, have the zeal to learn, share freely their experiences while also meeting their personal and course objectives.
The course runs for 14 weeks and will end on 14 December 2023.
