CS DEFENCE HOSTS EASF INCOMING DIRECTOR

The Cabinet Secretary for Defence, Hon. Aden Duale has today hosted the incoming Director of the Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF) Brigadier Paul Njema who paid him a courtesy visit at Defence Headquarters in Nairobi.

The two discussed a wide range of issues among them the preparedness of the Force to execute it’s mandate of enhancing peace and security in the Eastern Africa Region.

EASF is one of the multi-dimensional Forces of the African Standby Force (ASF) that comprises of the military, police and civilian component.

Brigadier Njema was accompanied by the outgoing Director Brigadier General Getachew Shiferaw Fayisa.
