The Base Commander Laikipia Air Base Brigadier Mohamud Farah presided over the pass out parade for Drill and Duties Course 08/23 at Kenya Air Force Training Wing (KTW) in Moi Air Base (MAB).
The course which is aimed at naturing character, command, leadership ability and personality of Service members earmarked for mid-level command, consisted of participants drawn from the three Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) Services.
Speaking during the event Brig Farah thanked course facilitators and instructors of KTW for their enormous contribution in making the course a success. He also congratulated the participants for successfully completing the course.
“I am confident that in the six weeks of your training you have been able to acquire the necessary skills to transform you into effective Warrant Officers and Senior Non Commissioned Officers within the Kenya Defence Forces,” he said.
On his part the acting Commandant KTW Lieutenant Colonel Franklin Bett congratulated all the participants for a job well done during the training. He also thanked the Kenya Air Force headquarters for the support it offers to the Wing .
Also Present during the event were; Staff Officers, Commanding Officers, Officers, KAF Sergeant Major and Service members.
