Defence Cabinet Secretary Hon. Aden Duale has led senior officials in signing the 2022/23 performance contract between the Ministry of Defence and the Semi-Autonomous Government Agencies (SAGAS) affiliated with the Ministry.
The performance contract is a key accountability framework used by government Ministries, Departments and Agencies to improve their efficiency and effectiveness in public service. The CS signed the contract between the MoD and the Chairpersons of the Kenya Space Agency (KSA) and the Kenya Ordnance Factories Corporation (KOFC).
Defence PS further signed a cascaded performance contract between MoD and the Director Generals of the two SAGAS while the Vice Chief of Defence Forces (VCDF) Lieutenant General Francis Ogolla signed on behalf of the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) General Robert Kibochi.
Hon. Aden Duale in his remarks implored the SAGAS to work with dedication and commitment so as to meet the high targets set and approved.
