KDF TROOPS IN ATMIS OBSERVE KDF DAY

Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) troops deployed in Somalia under African Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) on 14 October 2022 joined the KDF fraternity in celebrating the KDF day themed, “soldier centric approaches towards upscaling mission readiness,” in Dhobley, Somalia.

During the event, the Deputy Contingent Commander Colonel Joel Maiyo relayed the message from H.E Hon. William Samoei Ruto PhD, President of the Republic of Kenya and Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Forces who urged the soldiers to remain steadfast and professional in execution of their mandate.

Commanding Officer, Dhobley, Lieutenant Colonel Joseph Chemitei read the message from Chief of Defence Forces and thanked the soldiers for their selfless service to the Country.
